Overview
Team coaching describes an array of options involving work with both existing teams and project teams aimed at having an impact on individual, team, and organizational development. Team coaching provides groups and teams the opportunity to go beyond their current abilities; to create broader opportunities using a results-oriented process based upon member relationships, shared experience, and interpersonal awareness.
Team coaching opportunities follow research-based framework, customized to achieve the organization's specific needs and desired outcomes. This offers professional teams and groups the intimate coordination, collaboration, and creative thinking needed to address complex issues.
Our coaches use individual and team assessments, to identify common group behaviors, demonstrate gaps in perception and thinking, providing everyone the opportunity to think more openly, and to work together in a manner that creates shared group understanding and increases effectiveness.
Employee and Managerial Personality Assessments
Coaching often go hand in hand with personality assessments. An assessment is simply a written questionnaire that is used to help gain greater understanding about one's personality and that of others. All personal growth and change begins with self-awareness. We use these tools to provide a solid foundation of self-awareness, or the current reality. From there, clients can determine goals for growth and self-improvement.
Assessments are often taken in person, but most can also be taken online.
Here are a few assessments we use in Team Coaching:
• Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
• The DiSC Personal Profile Assessment
• The Firo-B
• The Thomas Kilmann Conflict Indicator
• Hay-McBer Emotional Competency Inventory (ECI)
• The Denison Culture Survey
• The Denison Leadership Survey
• Five Dysfunctions of a Team Survey
Team Coaching is best suited for any team or group that might use a confidential, empowering, professional coaching relationship to enhance effectiveness and desired outcomes.
